A waiter took cash at the table. How does that reach the drawer?

The waiter carries it and hands it in, and the hand in is recorded against them on the shift. A waiter's phone will not open the counter drawer, on purpose: a drawer should open where it is, in front of the person responsible for it, not in an empty room. The POS can show how much cash a waiter is currently holding.
