Can one ingredient come from two suppliers?

An ingredient carries one supplier at a time, which is who a purchase order will be written to. If you switch supplier for good, change it on the ingredient. If you genuinely split a line between two, the simplest honest answer is to add the second one to that supplier's order by hand rather than trying to model it.
