Is there a limit on how many POS machines I can add?

No limit at all. The yearly price is for the restaurant, not per machine, so a counter, a second counter at lunch, a kitchen screen and three waiter phones cost exactly the same as one device. Add each one under Settings, The POS and pair it with its own six character code. Retire one later and it costs you nothing either.
