Is there an app my customers have to download for loyalty?

No, and that is the point. There is no restaurant loyalty app to install and no account to make. Customers add your card to their phone from a link after they order, and it sits alongside their other cards. It fills up on its own as they order. Anything that needs a download loses most of the people you would have signed up.
