Is this a cloud based restaurant POS, or does everything run on the device?

Both, on purpose. Prices, stock, tables, staff and reports live with us, so every device and your ordering page agree with each other. The device keeps its own copy of the menu and its own record of what it has sold, so a dead router is an inconvenience rather than a closed shop. Money is always priced on our side, so a device offline since breakfast can never sell at yesterday's price.
