Is VAT added on top of the POS price?

The price is quoted before VAT, and the screen shows the exact figure that will be charged next to it. UAE restaurants pay five per cent on top. Outside the UAE it is zero rated, the same rule your plan already follows. The invoice is a proper tax document with its own number, ready to hand to your accountant.
