Somebody swears they never got their confirmation. Where do I check?

The message history, under Reports. Find the order, read the row: it will say sent, failed with the reason in plain English underneath, held, paused, or that there was no channel to send on at all. That last one means nothing was even attempted. It is the first place to look and it usually ends the argument in under a minute.
