What is the banner saying a newer version is ready?

It appears when we publish a new version of the app. Update now installs it in about twenty seconds, and the device cannot sell while it does, so do it between customers or at closing. Later leaves it alone until you are ready. The device stays paired either way and nothing on it is lost.
