A guest scanned at lunch and ordered delivery from home that night — did it go to the table?

No. The scanned table lives in that browser tab only, for at most four hours, so a later visit through your normal link is an ordinary delivery order. There is also a "Not at a table?" link on the checkout sheet that clears it immediately.
