Are my customers' phone numbers ever deleted by your clean-up?

No. The scheduled clean-up removes message CONTENT, delivery pins and notes after a period — the things that describe what happened. Who your customers are, and what they spent, is your business record and is never purged. The exception is a customer who asks to be erased, which is handled separately and on request.
