Can guests add themselves to the waitlist from their phone?

Not today. The waitlist is filled in by whoever is at the door, on Orders → Reservations & waitlist. What guests can do for themselves is book a table ahead on your booking page. If you want a queue people can join from the pavement, tell us: that request is what would build it.
