Can my booking form take a deposit from the guest?

No. Table reservation software here takes a name, and optionally a WhatsApp number and a note, and nothing is paid online. A booking is a record of what the guest asked for, shown to you on Orders → Reservations & waitlist, and you decide what to accept. For a big party you can ask for a deposit by hand when you call them, since parties over twelve are asked to call anyway.
