Do I get a message when a booking comes in?

No message goes out for a booking, to you or to the guest beyond the thank you on screen. It appears on Orders → Reservations & waitlist, and on the floor of your devices if you gave it a table. Keep that page open on the host stand during service. The one message this feature sends is on the waitlist, when you press Call.
