I picked my brand colours for the QR card and it refused to save. Why?

Two rules, refusals rather than silent corrections: the code must be darker than its background (light-on-dark codes fail on plenty of phones), and the pair needs at least 4:1 contrast. The designer shows the live ratio and names the rule you hit. Better told now than after printing forty cards.
