Dine-in & QR

Is the QR menu just a PDF to read, or can people actually order from it?

They order from it. A scanned QR menu opens your live menu with photos, descriptions and option groups, and the guest adds dishes and checks out from their seat with no address step. The order lands on your board and the kitchen screen with the table name, and the guest sees their live status on their phone. A contactless menu that is only a PDF still needs a waiter to take the order, and this removes that step. Prices are always the live ones, because the page is your real menu. The Dine-in, QR & group orders tab in the docs explains table ordering.
