The Save button on the floor plan will not press. What is wrong?

Two tables are sitting on top of each other. The page lists them by name underneath the room and keeps Save the plan inert until you move one. Nothing you have done is lost while you sort it out. Drag one table clear, or select it and press Take it off the plan to park it back in the list at the bottom.
