Two friends joined a table that had already ordered. Can I merge the tables?

Yes. Open one table, press Merge and pick the other. Its rounds are added after the ones already there and keep their order, and the emptied table closes with a note saying which table it joined. Merging is refused once a bill has been paid on either side, because money that is already in the drawer belongs to the table that took it.
