Do I have to count stock for every item?No — tracking is opt-in per item and per option. An untracked item shows "—" and behaves exactly as always: available until you flip the pill yourself. Most restaurants track only the things that genu AnsweredDoes 'replace' mode in the import delete my sales history? No — history belongs to orders, not menu rows. Replace retires the old menu and installs the new one; past orders keep showing exactly what was sold at the time. AnsweredCan I temporarily hide a whole category?Yes — deactivate the category and it disappears from the page with all its items, ready to reactivate for the season it returns. AnsweredDo sold-out items come back automatically the next day?Only if a cancel restores stock or you add stock — the platform never invents inventory. Set tomorrow's counts as part of opening routine (it takes seconds on the Inventory page). AnsweredIs there a limit on option groups per item?No hard limit that a real menu hits. If an item needs more than three or four groups, consider splitting it into variants — customers choose faster. AnsweredOptions in Arabic — will they work?Yes — option names are your text, any language renders. Keep the special characters ( ) : | ; + out of names, since they structure the format. AnsweredCan one item have both sizes and add-ons?Yes — an item carries multiple option groups: a required 'Size' single-choice group and an 'Extras' multi-choice group with per-option prices work together on the same item. AnsweredMy stock number looks wrong — how do I find out what happened?Scroll to "Stock movements" at the bottom of the Inventory page: every change is a line with time, item, amount and a reason — order, cancel, restock or adjust. A count that looks wrong can always be AnsweredCan I schedule menu changes for later? Not on a timer today — changes apply when you save. For predictable windows, per-item time-window pricing exists under promotions (e.g. a lunch price). AnsweredIs it possible to change prices in bulk without rebuilding the whole menu? Not with Add mode — that gives duplicates at the new price. Use "Replace menu" with your full corrected sheet; that is the intended way to do a price round. Note a cheaper price arriving via import is AnsweredMy long menu is slow for customers to scroll — best design?Use one of the text-first designs (Bistro List, Menu Board) or the Category Rail with its sticky category list — all three are built for long menus. AnsweredPhotos look different sizes on my page — why? They shouldn't: every upload is squared and resized automatically. If an old item looks off, re-upload its photo — it will be normalised like the rest. AnsweredHow do I show spice level or veg labels?Put them in the item description — it renders under the name on every design. Emojis work too, in moderation. AnsweredI ticked 'Card holders only' and now nobody can order it — why? That item is reserved for loyalty-card holders — and if your loyalty programme is off, there is no card for anyone to hold, so checkout refuses everyone. The Menu page shows an amber warning naming th AnsweredWhy can't I drag my items into a different order? There is no drag handle, but there is a Sort box — on the Add item form and inside Edit on any item. Lower numbers first; equal numbers fall back to alphabetical; blank on a new item means 'put it las AnsweredThe Excel import rejected my file — common causes?Almost always: a renamed column header, a price cell containing text ('25 AED' instead of 25), or an options cell with a typo in the format. The error message names the row; fix that row and re-upload AnsweredHow many photos should I actually bother with?Hero + your top 10 sellers takes you 80% of the way. Text-only designs need none at all — some of the best-converting pages we host are pure typography. AnsweredIs it possible to have a dish only my regulars can order? Two tools: a Secret item is hidden entirely and appears only via the unlock code you hand out; a "Card holders only" item is the opposite — everyone SEES it, only wallet-card holders can add it, which AnsweredHow do I add pictures to my dishes?Open the item (or the Add item form), tap the Photo control and press 'Upload a photo' — the image is squared to 800×800 and compressed on your own phone or computer before it uploads, then attached w AnsweredWhy can't I edit stock in the item edit form?Deliberate: stock belongs to the Inventory page where counts, movements and alerts live together — editing counts casually inside item saves caused mistakes, so the two were separated. AnsweredWill I get a warning before something sells out?Yes, if you set one: on the Inventory page give the item an alert level, and the moment an order takes the count below it your managers' group gets one message — once, on the crossing, not on every or AnsweredCan I price the mystery box differently on weekends?Change its price like any item when you want — or run a time-window price on it. The mystery is in the contents, not the price. AnsweredWhat is the secret menu actually for?Regulars, staff meals, influencer codes, quiet experiments — items only reachable through a special link you hand out. They order like normal items once unlocked. AnsweredCan customers search my menu? The designs built for big menus include search; on the compact designs categories do the navigating. If your menu passes ~80 items, prefer a search-bearing design. AnsweredCan two items share one photo?Yes, photos are per item — upload the same image to both. The platform doesn't force uniqueness.
